iPhone 16 at Atarashii Gakko Concert

Recently I upgraded my phone to the iPhone 16 Pro. The salesperson at Apple mentioned that the biggest upgrades to this phone were to the camera. A couple days after I decided to test the camera and thought the concert I was going to, Atarashii Gakko’s world tour “AG CALLING” would be a great place to test it. I wanted to test how well the 48MP 5x camera could shoot since I was back about 15 feet from the stage, and how well the phone could handle low light environments.

Immediately I noticed the difference in the cameras compared to my prior iPhone 12. The iPhone 16 Pro was able to take rapid fire shots in very low light, something my Canon can’t even do. The camera was able to capture crystal clear photos with beautiful color. One of the coolest features is the new camera control button which allows the user to slide to zoom, change depth, and capture photos. Another unique feature that is new to the iPhone 16 Pro is the ability to save images in HEIC files for up to 24MP and HEIF MAX to save up to 48MP.
